CENTRAL PARK, NY — A sign listing the rules and regulations of the Central Park carousel has had the name "Trump" removed from it, according to a report. Although the carousel's official name is the Friedsam Memorial Carousel, the attraction is currently operated by the Trump Organization.
A spokeswoman for the Trump Organizations told Patch that the Trump Organization's deal to operate the carousel has not changed, and that it was never named "Trump Carousel."
But even thought the carousel is named the Friedsam Memorial Carousel, its tickets bear the name "Trump," and so did the rules and regulations sign — until recently. The sign now simply reads "rules and regulations" and the name Trump has been replaced by the depiction of a horse, WNYC reported. A Trump Organization spokesperson told WNYC that the sign with Trump's name was taken down for updates.
