• Jamestown Man Arrested on Stolen Credit Card, Identity Theft Charges (wnynewsnow.com) — A 19-year-old Jamestown man wanted on a Chautauqua County felony warrant was arrested after officers say they found him carrying several credit cards reported stolen from local vehicle break-ins. He now faces identity theft and additional stolen property charges and is being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment, with all charges still only allegations.
• Wells Enterprises' Dunkirk ice cream plant named 2026 Dairy Foods Plant of the Year (dairyfoods.com) — Wells Enterprises' Dunkirk ice cream plant, a major Chautauqua County employer, has been named Dairy Foods' 2026 Plant of the Year after a major modernization and expansion. The facility is adding production lines, hundreds of jobs, and advanced energy-efficient systems, with partners projecting nearly $900 million in local economic benefit over the next decade.
