NEW YORK CITY — A man has been arrested after he allegedly attacked and assaulted a subway rider in a Manhattan subway station last month.
Jariel Irizarry, 22, of Manhattan, has been charged with assault in connection with the Aug. 14 incident.
Irizarry is accused of striking a 73-year-old man with an unknown object as they both waited on a northbound 1 train platform.
The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.
