NEW YORK CITY — Lidl US will open its newest Manhattan supermarket in Chelsea next month.
The company will host a grand opening on Oct. 7 at 7:40 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The new location will offer Lidl's private-label groceries, fresh produce, meat, bakery items and international specialties, along with a rotating selection of non-food products such as kitchenware and seasonal home goods.
Opening promotions will include special discounts on select fresh produce, bakery goods and non-food items.
The in-store bakery will offer fresh products throughout the day, including Lidl's signature butter croissant for 49 cents.
