Grandma’s Home In NYC Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival With Handmade Mooncakes

NEW YORK CITY — Grandma’s Home, the Flatiron restaurant specializing in authentic Hangzhou cuisine, is celebrating the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival with a trio of homemade snow skin mooncakes.

Available beginning September 14, the mooncake set includes three flavors: black sesame, matcha, and custard. The handmade treats are made with glutinous rice flour and served chilled, offering a softer, lighter alternative to traditional baked mooncakes.

The set of three is priced at $24, giving New Yorkers a chance to mark the seasonal holiday with a selection of house-made Chinese pastries.
