Union Square Station Purse Snatcher Sought, NYPD Says
The purse grab took place Wednesday during the evening rush hour, police said.

UNION SQUARE, NY - A Union Square straphanger saw her purse swiped from under her nose inside the subway station Wednesday, authorities said.
The 53-year-old female victim was inside the 14th Street-Union Square subway station about 5:10 p.m. when the assailant took the bag and fled the area, police said.
There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident, police said.
