1 Hospitalized After Crashing Into Pole In Commack
The crash also caused the car to overturn, officials say.

COMMACK, NY - One person was hospitalized after crashing into a pole in Commack on Wednesday night.
Suffolk Police confirmed the crash was reported on Larkfield Road near Jericho Turnpike at 11:48 p.m.
According to the Commack Volunteer Ambulance, the vehicle flipped multiple times after hitting the pole.

The car was secured by Commack Fire Department and one person was extricated from the vehicle.
Commack Ambulance then transported that person to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. The person is listed in stable condition.

PSEG was notified to repair the pole.
