Police ID 2 Killed in Fiery Crash At Suffolk Gas Station
The driver and passenger were killed after crashing into a gas pump which caused the car to catch on fire, police say.

COMMACK, NY - The driver of the 2013 Audi that crashed into a gas pump in Commack Wednesday morning has been identified as 27-year-old Hector Sanchez Jr, of Brentwood.
The passenger has been identified as 24-year-old Shawn Jenkins Jr., of Bay Shore.

COMMACK, NY - Two men were killed in a Commack car crash early Wednesday, according to Suffolk County Police.
A man was driving a 2013 Audi westbound on Jericho Turnpike just past the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a gas pump at Sunoco gas station on 2211 Jericho Turnpike at 2:10 a.m. The car then caught fire.
Both the driver and the male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Their names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
