2 Steal $4,150 Worth Of Clothes From Commack Store: Police
The duo used sensor removers to unlock security tags on clothing at a Dick's Sporting Goods shop, police say.
COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man and woman who police said stole merchandise from a Commack store.
A man and woman used sensor removers to unlock security tags on 29 pieces of North Face clothing at Dick’s Sporting Goods, at 6070 Jericho Turnpike, around 4 p.m. Jan. 20, police said. The stolen merchandise was worth approximately $4,150, police said. The pair is wanted for grand larceny.
Police described the man as black, in his mid 30s, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, 210 pounds, with black hair. Police described the woman as black, in her early 30s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair.

A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
