3 Use Stolen Credit Card At Commack Stores: Police

The card was stolen from a woman's purse at a different shop earlier that day, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the three people who police said used a stolen credit card at Commack stores.

Three people used a stolen credit card to make a $522 purchase at Home Depot, at 5025 Jericho Turnpike, on April 5, police said. A $510 purchase was attempted and declined at Walgreens, at 5001 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, the same day, police said.

The card was stolen from a woman’s purse in Home Goods in Commack earlier in the day, police said. The trio is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
