3 Women Steal Wallet Containing Credit Cards In Commack: Police

The women used distraction techniques to steal a wallet, and the cards inside were used later that day, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the three women who, police said, stole a wallet from a store in Commack in September.

Three women, using distraction techniques, stole a wallet containing credit cards from a person at Five Below, at 108 Veterans Memorial Highway, on Sept. 29, police said. The credit cards were used at a Target in Commack later that day, police said. The women are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
