7th Annual Glen Ciano Memorial Blood Drive to Take Place This Weekend

The drive honors Officer Ciano who was killed after being struck by a drunk driver in 2009.

COMMACK, NY - The Suffolk County Police and the Commack Fire Department will be hosting the 7th annual Police Officer Glen Ciano Memorial Blood Drive this weekend.

The drive was created in memory of Second Precinct Police Officer Ciano who was killed after being struck by a drunk driver in Commack on February 22, 2009.

The SCPD and Commack Fire Department host an annual blood drive, now in its seventh year, to honor his memory and carry on his commitment to giving back to the community.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 11 at the Commack Fire Department, 6309 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
