Art Summer Camps for Children

Picasso Kidz is a children’s art studio. We offer Mommy and Me and all elementary level art classes as well as Summer Camps by NYS certified art teachers. At Picasso Kidz we nurture children’s innate curiosity and creativity by allowing them to freely explore all aspects of art and the art making process. Teacher’s are merely a guide through the journey of what art and various art materials can do. Our classes are for ages 2-12 and each class is tailored to meet the needs of that specific developmental stage. Our Mommy and me classes are focused more on the process of making art rather than the final product. Children will paint at easels with various tools and materials and explore what they can do. As they get older our classes begin to become more involved, teaching children the elements and principles of art and how to use them in their artwork. Children will be exposed to famous art and artist and explore art from different cultures. Our goal is to create a safe, caring, fun and magical atmosphere where children are free to express themselves and their art.
