ATV Driver Wanted For Suffolk Hit-And-Run: Police

The driver struck a parked vehicle and then drove off, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the ATV driver who police said struck a vehicle in Commack and fled in August.

A male was riding a black and yellow ATV on Whitetail Lane when he struck a parked, unoccupied 2013 Jeep Wrangler around 7 p.m. Aug. 23, police said. He is wanted for a hit-and-run.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
