Barnes & Noble To Open New Commack Store With Authors, Biscuit
Next week's celebration will feature bestselling authors, along with a storytime and meet-and-greet with Biscuit.
COMMACK, NY — Barnes & Noble will celebrate the grand opening of its new Commack store on Aug. 5, with author appearances, book signings and activities for young readers.
The festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. featuring New York Times bestselling author Jen Calonita as the special guest ribbon cutter. Calonita, whose books include “The Taylors” and “Isle of Ever,” will hold a book signing following the ceremony.
New York Times bestselling author Sarah Beth Durst will hold a second signing at noon. Durst is the author of books including “The Enchanted Greenhouse” and “The Deepest Sea.”

At 2 p.m., children can attend a storytime and meet-and-greet featuring Biscuit, the canine character from the popular children’s book series.
