Road Paving in Commack
Am I the only one who thinks the recent street paving in parts of Commack is sub par and should be redone?
I live in the development behind the CVS on Commack Road. Most of the streets in the development have been paved with asphalt. First, why pave now when the economy is so troubled and residents are looking for some stability in their taxes? Second, either the asphalt was of sub par grade or it wasn't layed correctly because the surface is rough, uneven,"gritty", and discolored- it almost looks like patches of oil pooled in certain areas. I won't go as far as saying " Who's brother-in-law got the contract"...oops I guess I did!
