Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO celebrated the grand opening of its first Long Island store at the Smith Haven Mall on Friday.
UNIQLO held its grand opening in Lake Grove this Friday at 10 a.m. with special festivities and performance throughout the weekend. The store is located in the Macy's wing, next to Aeropostale.

Smithtown Town Board voted 3-2 to approve a site plan for Commack Hess's gas station and convenience store at their Tuesday afternoon board meeting. Supervisor Patrick Vecchio and Councilman Ed Wehrheim were the two votes against the project.
