Commack Girl Scouts Design Inspirational Rocks For Northport VA
The designed rocks were placed in the "Veterans Rock" rock garden outside of the center's PTSD rehabilitation program.
NORTHPORT, NY — Commack Girl Scout Troop 1995 decorated inspirational rocks for the new "Veterans Rock" rock garden at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, according to a news release.
The garden is outside of the Northport VA's PTSD rehabilitation program on the campus. The rock garden provides uplifting and meaningful messages for veterans. The girl scouts thanked their local heroes for their courage, bravery and patriotism. They also reminded the veterans to stay strong and have faith.
