Commack Indian Restaurant Shuts Down
The restaurant, which has been opened for less than a year, announced the closure on Sunday.

A Commack Indian restaurant recently shut down after being open for less than a year.
RM Bistro Progressive Indian Cuisine announced the closure in a message from the owners, the Verma family, on their Facebook page on Sunday.
The business opened on 1141 Jericho Turnpike last October to serve "progressive Indian cuisine."

However, according to the Facebook post the Verma family and their team is "no longer at or affiliated in any way with RM Bistro."
After Chef Apaar Verma returned from working at the Indian restaurant Gaggan in Bangkok, the family chose to close the restaurant so Verma can "focus on honing his craft and learn more before pursuing future endeavors."

"New projects are on the horizon," the family wrote on Facebook. "Thank you all so much for your support and patronage."
