Commack Rd Car Accident
Wednesday, March 9, approx 3pm, in front of the Meat Farms shopping center, Commack
Anyone know anything about the accident that occurred Wed Mar 9 at around 3pm on Commack Rd at the Meat Farms shopping center (Fairfield Way) in Commack? By the time I got there, all that was left was a small car with a damaged front end and no rubber on the driver front wheel. It was on the sidewalk, as was a police car. Only a tiny amount of debris in the middle of the 4 lane road. There was no tow truck, ambulance, or any other sign of the accident, which may mean that it was long since cleaned-up, and that the remaining car was purposely put on the sidewalk to get it out of the way until another tow truck arrived (I didn't stay long enough to find out). Just curious! (couldn't find any mention of it online or on News 12 or Patch.com or police blotters, etc)
