Commack Trader Joe's Evacuated After Receiving Suspicious Letter
Police are investigating after the local grocery store received a suspicious letter Monday afternoon.
COMMACK, NY - A Commack grocery store was evacuated Monday afternoon after an employee received a letter containing white powder, according to Suffolk Police.
Officers responded to Trader Joe’s on 5900 Jericho Turnpike at 12:20 p.m. after the employee reported the letter.
The building was then evacuated.
