
COMMACK, NY - A Commack veterinary's office is asking the community for help in searching for a cat that went missing last month.
Quinn, a 5-year-old male cat (pictured above) ran out the front door of the Peace Love Pets Veterinary Care on 6229 Jericho Turnpike after being spooked by a clients pet on Dec. 18.
While the employees were trying to round him up, he ran behind the building and over the fence.

He was spotted later that night on Hedgerow Court in Commack. He was also possibly spotted on Dec. 22 on Burr Road but has not been seen since.
He is described as orange and white with asymmetrical facial markings as well as black freckles on his nose and mouth.

The Facebook page "LOST CAT QUINN Just Wants Peace Love and Pets" was created in order to spread the word on the missing cat.
"We are doing all we can to find Quinn and are relying on the community for sightings and assistance as well," the page reads.
According to the page, Quinn is a very friendly cat and may come to his name or "pretty boy" if he is spotted.
He also loves food, especially people food like turkey cold cuts and tuna fish which might help to coax him over.

Residents are advised to resist chasing him.
If you do see him, feel free to call Peace Love Pets directly (631-499-3300) which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If it is after hours, contact 516-233-0212.
