Driver Trapped In Prius After Commack Crash

The Prius fell into the woods following the two-car crash earlier this week.

COMMACK, NY - A driver became trapped after a crash in Commack on Wednesday.

Members of the Commack Volunteer Ambulance responded to the crash on Indian Head Road at about 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, EMS crews found a Prius about 60 feet into the woods with the driver still in the car.

EMS assessed the driver and crew members were able to extricate her. She was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle had no injuries.

The scene was turned of Suffolk County Police Department for further investigation.
