Earth Day Celebration Daturday & Sunday 4/22 & 4/23 at Savers in Commack/Enter Huge Raffles by Donating Unwanted Clothing!

Savers in Commack will host a 2-day celebration of Earth Day, Saturday 4/22 & Sunday 4/23. A Thrift Superstore, Savers has a green philosophy and a social conscience with the purpose of "Improving Lives Through the Power of ReUse." In the spirit of environmental education, Savers will provide information and materials about the effect of our clothing imprint on the environment and what Savers does every day to strengthen communities and protect the Earth.

Activities include children's DIY workshops to Make Your Own Reusable Shopping Bag, coloring & activity tables, games with prizes, giveaways, free toys, books and/or goodie bags for kids 12 & under who donate unwanted items, information about clothing recycling programs for schools, scouts, etc. and LOTS more. Saturday features Craig's Hot Dog & Sausage Truck and Sunday features the gourmet food truck EatMeDrinkMe (cash & carry for both). Everyone who donates any unwanted items on Saturday or Sunday will receive a raffle entry to win one of 5 raffle baskets, including the grand prize of 50 scratch-off NY Lottery Tickets!!

Savers is located at 755 Larkfield Road, Commack NY 11725, at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike, next to TJ Maxx.
