Elderly Driver Crashes In Commack Store: PD
The 83-year-old struck the storefront after accidentally hitting the accelerator instead of the brake.
COMMACK, NY - An elderly driver crashed into a store in Commack on Sunday afternoon.
Suffolk Police confirmed that the driver struck a building at 5025 Jericho Turnpike at 3:15 p.m.
It’s not clear whether or not there were injuries.

According to a report in News12, the 83-year-old woman crashed into the Modell's Sporting Goods after she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake at a stop sign.
She also hit two parked cars.
