Famous Toastery to Open First Long Island Location

The new restaurant is expected to open in Commack in 2017.

A national breakfast restaurant chain will be opening up their first Long Island location next year.

Famous Toastery, started by best friends, Brian Burchill and Robert Maynard, will be opening up a new restaurant in Commack.

The duo started the franchise in 2005 with their first location in Huntersville, North Carolina. Since then they have expanded adding nine addition locations in North Carolina as well as two locations in South Carolina, one in Virginia and one in Florida. The restaurant evolved into a franchise system in 2013 in order to "satisfy its family of patrons’ pleas for more locations."
