Fire Department Collecting Supplies In Anticipation Of Florence

Residents can donate supplies to help those expected to be affected by the storm hitting the South on Friday.

COMMACK, NY - The Commack Fire Department is hosting a Collection Drive to collect goods to donate in anticipation of Hurricane Florence.

The department will be collecting supplies that will be needed following the devastation expected to be caused by the hurricane the south.

The Carolines are expected to be hit hardest by the storm, which made landfall on Friday.

All donations can be dropped off at Commack Fire Headquarters on 6309 Jericho Turnpike (just west of Commack Road).

Donations will be collected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
