Florida Man 'Lost Everything' In Hurricane; Long Island Woman Makes Fundraiser
Louie, who lives in Fort Myers, saw his mobile home destroyed. His daughter-in-law, from Commack, is trying to help him.
COMMACK, NY — A Commack woman is trying to help her father-in-law, who lives in Fort Myers, after he "lost everything" in Hurricane Ian.
Cynthia Trocchio created a GoFundMe earlier this week to help her father-in-law, Louie.
"His mobile home that he has called home for the last 10 years was completely destroyed," Trocchio wrote on the GoFundMe. "Everything he worked for his whole life has been torn apart. Please help me show him how people care, by raising money to help the burden of losing everything. Thank you to all that donate & send prayers."
