GSSC Celebrate Cookie Season with Local Booth Sales
The Sweetest Weekends of the Year Take Place as Many Girl Scouts Across Suffolk County Hold their Seasonal Booth Sales

Commack, NY – The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County (GSSC) recently celebrated National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend from February 18th-20th as troops throughout the county held their annual booth sales. Booth sales are a vital aspect of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, helping girls build entrepreneurial skills as they manage their own retail businesses while providing Suffolk County residents with the delicious Girl Scout cookie flavors they love. This cookie season, booth sales will be available until April 28, and can be found using the Girl Scout Cookie Finder tool.
"Participating in our Girl Scout Cookie Program helps girls develop entrepreneurial experience and begin to soar in their professional lives from an early age," said Tammy Severino, GSSC’s President & CEO. "I am proud of every girl that participates in these programs as she continues to push herself and grow, not only in her professional skills but her personal life as well. The confidence and business skills our Girl Scouts gain from these programs is the reason we can continue to build future leaders and success stories."
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, and helps Girl Scouts reach goals that power endless opportunities and adventures! Booth Sales allow Girl Scouts to engage with their community while they gain early business experience and progress in leadership. Each booth is designed and created by the girls in the troop, using their creativity and artistic ability to construct their unique booth. These Booth Sales give girls the opportunity to gain experience in managing inventory, handling customer transactions, creating displays, and much more.
