Local Non-Profit to Reactivate Commack Chapter After 6-Year Hiatus

The local chapter of the organization will be hosting an event this week.

A local non-profit recently announced that they have reactivated its Commack chapter after a six-year hiatus.

GlamourGals, which recruits teen volunteers to provide companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women in senior homes, will be hosting the first makeover since 2011 on Wednesday.

Volunteers from Commack High School will be bringing a day of fun and beauty to seniors at the Gurwin Jewish Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Commack, where the first ever GlamourGals makeover took place.
