Long Island Contractor's Association Host Elected Officials and Special Guests at Meeting

Keynote Speeches Provide LICA Members insight into State Budget Process

The Long Island Contractor's Association hosted their Annual Meeting and State Budget Review where they welcomed several elected officials and special guests. The night featured a presentation of the LICA 2016 Partnership Award to Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul who accepted on behalf of the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council for their efforts and success in winning funding for critical projects that will help insure future economic growth for Long Island. In addition, the night's festivities included keynote speeches from Senate Majority Leader John J. Flanagan and Edmund (E.J.) McMahon, President of the Empire Center for Public Policy, who both addressed issues regarding the State budget. The nearly 200 members and guests also heard remarks from Senator Tom Croci and Suffolk County Executive, Steve Bellone. Additional elected officials in attendance included Assembly members; David McDonough, Michael Fitzpatrick, Andrew Raia, Joseph Saladino and Kimberly Jean-Pierre.
