Man Broke Car Window, Stole Wallet In Commack: Police

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who police said stole items from a Commack vehicle in June.

A man broke the window a Chevrolet SUV in the parking lot of Walmart, at 85 Crooked Hill Road, around 6:15 a.m. Sunday, police said. He swiped a wallet from the SUV and then drove off in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban, police said. He is wanted for criminal mischief and petty larceny.

A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
