Man Broke Into Commack Restaurant: Police

The man broke into Prato 850 while it was closed, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who police said broke into a Commack restaurant in March.

A man entered Prato 850 restaurant, at 204 Jericho Turnpike, on March 3 while the store was closed, police said. The man fled the restaurant without having stolen anything when police got there, police said. He is wanted for burglary.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
