Man Hits Woman, Robs Her In Front Of Her Daughter: Suffolk Police
The man displayed what appeared to be a gun and robbed the woman in front of her baby daughter, police say.

COMMACK, NY — A man hit and robbed a woman in Commack in February, police said, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help to find the man.
A man struck a woman in the head from behind while she was putting her 2-year-old daughter in her car in the parking lot of Michael’s, at 30 Veterans Memorial Highway, around 2:30 p.m. Feb. 15, police said.
The man then displayed what appeared to be a gun and ordered the woman into the backseat, police said. The man took the woman's cellphone and demanded her keys, police said. The woman pressed the panic button on the key fob and the man ran off eastbound through the parking lot, with the woman's cellphone, police said.

Police described the man as 6-feet tall, and and about 50 years old. He was wearing a green sweater and a mask over the bottom of his face, police said.

Video from Suffolk police shows the man skulking around the parking lot and putting a mask on before the robbery.
