Man Hospitalized After Crashing Into Pole
The wires caught on fire following the crash on Wednesday night.
COMMACK, NY - A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a pole in Commack on Wednesday night, according to fire officials.
The Commack Fire Department and Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps both responded to the crash on Harned Road and Cutchogue Lane at about 6 p.m.
The wires then caught on fire.

The 45-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries were not disclosed.
No other injuries were reported.
