Police Investigating Commack Bank Robbery

The robbery occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

COMMACK, NY - Suffolk Police are investigating a robbery at a Commack bank on Wednesday afternoon.

A man entered the Suffolk Federal Credit Union on 6150 Jericho Turnpike at 1:20 p.m. and demanded cash from a teller.

The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot.

No injuries were reported

The man was described as white, in his late 40s to early 50s, 5-foot-5 inches to 5-foot-6 with a thin build and salt and pepper colored hair. The man was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
