Man Steals $1,000 In Electrical Wire From Commack Lowe's: Police

He stole more than 500 feet of electrical wire, police say. He is wanted for grand larceny.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said stole electrical wiring from a store in Commack this summer.

A man entered Lowe's, at 100 North Service Road, around 10:20 a.m. Aug. 7 and stole more than 500 feet of electrical wire, police said. The merchandise was valued at approximately $1,000, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
