Man Threatens To Stab Home Depot Employee: SCPD

The man sprayed Lysol at the employee and threatened them during a store robbery, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said robbed a Commack store and attacked an employee in February.

A man stole a Dewalt electric lawnmower and can of Lysol at Home Depot, at 65 Crooked Hill Road, around 5:10 p.m. Feb. 28, police said.

A store employee tried to stop the man in the parking lot and the man threatened to mace
the employee if he wasn’t allowed to leave, police said. The man then sprayed Lysol at the employee and then loaded the lawnmower into his vehicle, police said.

The man then took out a brass knuckle handle knife and threatened to stab the employee, police said. The man drove away in a red Ford Explorer with a possible New York plate, ECC 2960, police said.
