Man Tries to Use Stolen Credit Card at Commack Target: Police

Do you recognize this man? Police are looking for him.

Police are looking to identify the man who tried to use a credit card stolen in Melville at the Commack Target on May 11.

According to authorities, the credit card was stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Blink Fitness, located at 121 Broadhollow Road in Melville. A man then attempted to use the card at Target, located at 4 Henry St. in Commack, later that day at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The man fled the parking lot in a white SUV that may have been a mid-2000s Dodge Durango. Police described the man, who is wanted for grand larceny, as in his twenties.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
