Man Used Stolen Credit Card In Islandia: Police

The card owner lost the card the man used to make purchases, police say.

ISLANDIA, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said used a stolen credit card in Islandia.

A man used a stolen credit card to make a purchase at Famous Footwear, at 1770 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 4 p.m. Dec. 12, police said. The card owner lost the card earlier that day, police said. The man who used the card is wanted for grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
