Mexican Restaurant Shuts Down Commack Location
The restaurant will be opening a new location in Bohemia.
COMMACK, NY - Looks like local residents will have to travel a little further to get their $2 tacos on taco Tuesday. A Long Island-based Mexican-American restaurant recently announced it will be closing its Commack location.
In a message on the restaurant's website, Avocados announced it will be changing the location of the eatery from 2188 Jericho Turnpike to Lakeland Avenue in Bohemia.
The new location is about 11 miles from the current restaurant.

The Commack eatery opened its doors in Feb. 2017.
The original Avocados restaurant, which opened is 2008, is still located on 955 Montauk Highway in Bayport.
