A new Italian restaurant opened up in Commack recently following the closings of four local restaurants.
MaBella opened up on 169 Commack Road at the former site of Cafe Mendoza, which closed down last month.
The restaurant is owned by Frank Algieri and his wife Maria who came up with the name MaBella by combining Maria's name with the name of their daughter Isabella.
