New Mexican Restaurant Opens In Commack
The Mexican food chain opened its 4th Long Island restaurant last week.
A new restaurant recently opened up in Commack.
The Long Island-based Mexican food chain, Sabrosa Mexican Grill, opened its latest restaurant on 660 Commack Road.
There are currently three other Sabrosa restaurants on Long Island located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Water Mill and Riverhead. A Hauppauge restaurant is scheduled to open this summer.

The owner Jay Andreassi, a real estate developer in the East End, opened the first restaurant in 2014 in Water Mall.
He was inspired to open the restaurant as a combination of the Chipotle Mexican Grill model with his own interest in vegan and healthy Mexican food after battling health issues, according to a report in Newsday.

“I was amazed at how diet changed everything,” Andreassi told Newsday.
The Commack Sabrosa officially opened for business last Wednesday.
Sabrosa is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
