New Principal Appointed At Commack's Burr Intermediate

COMMACK, NY — Daniel Ciccone has been appointed the incoming principal of Burr Intermediate School, the Commack School District announced on Tuesday.

Ciccone is set to start on Feb. 1. He has more than a decade of professional experience in education. He most recently was the assistant principal of C.P. Weber Middle School in the Port WashingtonSchool District; a position he held for five years.

"Welcome to Commack, Mr. Ciccone!" the district wrote.

Ciccone has also worked for the Great Neck, North Babylon and Lindenhurst school districts, according to his LinkedIn page.

He graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2004 with a degree in aeronautical science and from Stony Brook University in 2009 with a degree in United States history and secondary education, as well as educational/instructional technology.
