One Injured in Commack Crash

COMMACK, NY - One person was hospitalized after a crash in Commack on Thursday night.

The Commack Fire Department, Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Suffolk Police responded to a two-car crash at about 8:15 p.m. on Harned Road north of New Highway.

One of the drivers involved was injured and transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. No other injuries were reported.

Commack firefighters were on the scene with an engine and a heavy rescue truck, under the direction of Assistant Chief Paul Carnevale and Bobby Wilkins.
