
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say stole a donation jar from a 7-Eleven store in Shirley last week.
Police said a man entered the 7-Eleven, located at 1481 William Floyd Parkway, on Nov. 10 at about 9:45 a.m. The man grabbed a donation jar from the front counter and ran from the store, police said.
The man, who was described as white and about 5-foot-7, fled southbound on Revilo Avenue in a black, late-model Nissan Altima. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with “Jack Daniel’s” lettering on it at the time of the theft, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
