Police Seek Man Who Stole Nearly $1K in Allergy Medicine in Elwood

The man is wanted for petty larceny.

Police are looking to identify a man who stole approximately $975 in allergy medicine from an Elwood pharmacy in July and August.

According to authorities, a man entered CVS Pharmacy, located at 2000 Jericho Turnpike, and stole allergy medicine at the following dates:

  • July 22 at 12:50 p.m.
  • Aug. 8 at 5:18 p.m.

The man, who is wanted for petty larceny, fled the store in a vehicle, which may have been a black Prius.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
