Police Seek Public's Help to Find Man Who Broke Into Cars in Commack
The man stole property from several unlocked cars, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole property from and damaged cars in Commack.
A man entered several unlocked vehicles between Jan. 29 and Feb. 13 and stole property, police said. While he was rummaging through the vehicles, he damaged property inside.
The suspect is described as white, in his mid-30s, with a medium build and approximately 5-foot-9. He wore a brimmed hat, boots and a backpack.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
