Police Seeking Man Who Used Fake Money At Commack Target

The man used fake money to pay for $12 worth of items and then received change from the fraudulent cash, police say.

COMMACK, NY - Suffolk Police are seeking a man who used counterfeit money to pay for a purchase at a Commack store earlier this month.

The man (pictured above) used a fake $100 bill to make a purchase at Target on 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, on October 15 at 2 p.m.

He purchased $12 worth of merchandise and then received change from the fraudulent bill.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
