I would like to ask my fellow good people of Commack to please have the sense not to pay attention to the silly Patch particles written by Jarrett Behar, who for some reason feels a need to personally attack good people who are trying to make changes in this District for the betterment of our children and the taxpayers.
If Mr. Behar likes paying high property taxes due to the District's needless overtaxing of its taxpayers, or the wasteful spending of tax dollars, like for $106,000 a year secretaries, $100,000 a year Community Organizers, $100,000 District Clerks, etc. then he can move to Jericho, Roslyn or Syosset.
I for one want to see new people elected to the school board who will at least try to have a common sense approach to spending. Mr. Tampellini and Mr. Hartman who were elected last year were the first pieces of the puzzle. Mr. Marine and Mr. Fusco should be the next pieces, as they both have shown their willingness to stand up and speak out against wasteful spending at the expense of our children's education. Ms. Masciello has been part of the problem for the past 15-years and Ms. Curten and Degirolomo are unknowns who have never spoke out about any issue. So I see no reason to vote for any of these women.

Why in the world would anyone pay attention to anything Behar says anyway? Behar has proven himself to be a hypocrite with no credibility and yet has the gall to go out of his way to criticize others. Behar seemingly has no integrity and believes he does not have to abide by anyone’s rules..even of his own PTA.. as shown when Behar sneakily violated the PTA’s rules against videotaping at last year’s Meet the Candidates night and then posting the videos of himself on Youtube, in his failed attempt to get himself elected to the school board. Behar was so decimated by his defeat that he opted not to run again this year.. which by the way was a blessing to all of us. So take what Behar says for what its worth - NOTHING.
